The event was located in-doors which was a plus because it was –10 that day. There were various vendor booths with all kinds of pet products and goodies for doggies.
What was nice about the event was that there was a fenced in area where the dogs could have in-door off-leash play time. Tiki enjoyed exploring the other doggies by sniffing their bums…lol but after 2 hours of walking around the event and waiting for the off-leash play to begin, he was “doggied out” and just wanted to lye down next to me and my husband.
My husband wanted me to buy him a hotdog at the food stand, so after ordering and receiving my order, the man at the cashier told me “That will be $4.00” WFT??? 4 bucks for a hotdog?? And the only condiments that they had for the sucker was ketchup and mustard!
Overall, the time was well spent. There should be more doggie events in Toronto so that as pet owners, we could get together and watch our pets explore and interact with each other.

It is uncommon to see such a uproar in the winter market, especially in January, but I guess that is due to the slower half of the year in 2010. Which lead to built up buying tension from buyers and now that the new year has begun and interest rates are still record low, they have all decided to “come out of the closet”.
Just yesterday, I put a Markham home on the market. I had 10 showings booked for the weekend and 2 offers waiting to present tonight. Just 1 day on the market.
I am very excited about the upcoming months, as I predict that the real estate market will be booming once again like what we experienced from March 2009 – January 2010.
If you are thinking about selling your home this year, this is the time!! Low inventory but high demand.

5,4,3,2,1 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
So now that 2011 has arrived, the thought of the future start filling my head.
What significant change will I do this year to make it better than 2010? What extra value will I have for my clients to have a more successful year than 2010? Where would I like to go on vacation this year? What type of big event will happen this year in my life… a baby?
My mission statement for 2011 is “Helping families transition their loved ones into a place they can call home”
Here are a couple of my 2011 goals:
- Help 35 families in their real estate transactions
- Sponsor 2 families in Toronto
- Maintain physical health and fitness
- Travel across Europe
- Complete basement renovation
- Read everyday
- Purchase another investment property
- Go to St.Lucia for my husband and I’s 1 year anniversary
